Brisbane Women’s Club Let’s Celebrate Saturday Soiree – Featuring the BWC 2022 Grant Winners, Hannah’s House.
Back by popular demand, you are invited to join in the fun and festivities at the annual Brisbane Women’s Club “Let’s Celebrate Saturday” Soiree charity fundraising event on Saturday 5 August in the Marquee at Bulimba Golf Club.
This year’s event will be bigger and brighter than ever before with Lucky Door Prizes, a Bumper Raffle, networking activities, delicious canapes, a carefully curated 2 hour Drinks Package with bubbles (of course!) and a Keynote Address from the BWC 2022 Grant Winners “Hannah’s House”.
And in true BWC fashion, we are supporting not one, but two, charities at this event with all profits from our raffle going to support another amazing charity, The Forgotten Women. Based in Wynnum, The Forgotten Women provides accommodation for Australia’s fasted growing homeless demographic – women over 55 years of age.
This event is a lovely way to spend an afternoon celebrating Saturday in Brisbane.

Hear from our 2022 Grant Winner, Hannah’s House on how they have used the $10,000 Grant money to improve the lives of the women that seek emergency accommodation inside their shelter. Please bring along an item from the following list to help support the amazing work that Hannah’s House undertakes:
- Sanitary items such as pads, tampons, liners, period underwear
- Basic underwear items in various sizes
- Toothbrushes and toothpaste

From 2pm to 4pm – please arrive from 1:45pm onwards with drinks service to start at 2pm sharp.
- Canapés only: Members $40; Non-Members $60
- Canapés + 2 hr Drinks Package (alcoholic and non-alcoholic): Members $75; Non-Members $99

COVID Management – The event will be COVID compliant and venue run under a COVID-Safe Plan.
Cancellation Policy – Tickets are transferable but not refundable on account that tickets cover food costs of the venue.
Photography Consent – I consent to allow BWC to collect and use my personal images by photography or video recording (including using such images on BWC website, social media, as well as newsletters and publications now or in the future). Consent can be withdrawn at any time by notifying secretary@bwc.org.au. In giving my consent voluntarily I confirm that I am over the age of 18.
