Ladies Long Lunch

Join us for our Ladies Long Lunch in support of the Girls Bra Drive.
This is a limited number event, priority given to BWC Members. Be prepared to star in our campaign to advertise our Support the Girls Bra Drive which is kicking off at our lunch event!
DATE/ TIME: Saturday 11 June 2022 from 1pm
VENUE: Ciao Papi, Rivershed deck (New Farm End) Howard Street Wharves, (5 Boundary Street, Brisbane City)
COST: $75 Members/$85 Non-Members. $10 from all tickets will be matched by BWC and donated to Support the Girls
INCLUSIONS: Shared Italian Set Menu, Drink on Arrival, Lucky Door Prize.
DRINKS: Attendees can order their own drinks after through a QR code on the table.
About Support the Girls
Support the Girls is a fantastic charity that aims to contribute to the foundation of a new social order for disenfranchised and isolated women, and the communities in which they live in. Their goal is to remove the prejudices of homelessness and enable women to rediscover their dignity. One project Support the Girls runs is to provide bras and personal hygiene items to women and girls. Support the Girls run a number of other fabulous initiatives.
Support the Girls accepts any brand new or preloved bras in good condition (contour, soft cups, underwire, maternity and plus size bras). Bras must be:

- washed
- shoulder straps in good working order
- sides not stretched or damaged
- no stains or perspiration marks
- hooks and eyes are in good working condition and no rust on fasteners
- wires are intact (push the wire to see if it pokes out)
Support the Girls will also accept underwear (but it must be new underwear with tags or in their packets) and menstrual hygiene products (but must be in sealed complete packets).
How to donate
Those attending the Ladies Long Lunch may like to bring their donated bra(s) to lunch; details for our general collection points available prior to 30 June 2022 will be advertised shortly.
Covid Safe Venue
BWC events will be run to industry COVID Safe plans managed by the venue. We ask that you stay home if you are unwell, have a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or have been in contact with a positive COVID case.
Photography
From time to time we will take photos or engage a professional photographer and or videographer to take photos which we will use on our website, social media, newsletters, emails, correspondence, brochures and other promotion materials. When registering for the event you are required to provide your photography consent. Such consent can be revoked at any time by contacting the BWC secretary at secretary@bwc.org.au or by speaking to any of the directors in attendance at the event.
Cancellation Policy
Tickets are transferable but not refundable on account that tickets cover food costs of the venue.
