2023 BWC French Champagne High Tea announcing the Winner of the 2023 Charitable Grant and also collecting Pamper Pack items for the Carers of children staying in Hummingbird House.
This year’s event will include a Champagne High Tea at the exquisite Emporium Hotel South Bank, followed by a huge Christmas raffle and the announcement of the 2023 BWC Grant Recipient.
We would love for you to join us as we look back at the year that was for BWC and step into the festive season.

Saturday 4 November 2023
Arrival and Pre-Function Activities – From 12.15pm-1pm in the Frangipani Suite will include; networking, raffle ticket purchase, donations table, photobooth fun and pop-up bar for drinks to be purchased.
Official Proceedings – At 1pm move into the Frangipani Ballroom for the seated high tea and the start of the function and drinks package.
Event close – The function officially concludes at 3pm.

Donations
We will be collecting items to form of ‘pamper hampers’ to be gifted to parents and carer’s of children staying in Hummingbird House.
We would like to ask attendees to please bring along and donate items such as; invigorating body wash, luscious body scrub, relaxing eye and face masks, rejuvenating face and body moisturisers, soft wash cloths, vouchers, hair masks and hair care – basically anything that would make a carer of child who is terminally ill or requires respite care feel special.
Grant Recipient Announcement
We will be announcing the winner of our 2023 Brisbane Women’s Club $10,000 grant to a local charity that supports women and which is aligned with our constitutional objectives. Our key-note speaker will be a representative of the grant recipient.

Policies & Information
COVID Management – The event will be COVID compliant and venue run under a COVID-Safe Plan.
Cancellation Policy – Tickets are transferable but not refundable on account that tickets cover food costs of the venue.
Photography Consent – I consent to allow BWC to collect and use my personal images by photography or video recording (including using such images on BWC website, social media, as well as newsletters and publications now or in the future). Consent can be withdrawn at any time by notifying secretary@bwc.org.au. In giving my consent voluntarily I confirm that I am over the age of 18.
