This was the first in a series of informal networking evenings bringing together professional and creative women with bright, sparking ideas and a track record of making things happen. The event combined the opportunity to mingle over drinks with a panel discussion featuring five female entrepreneurs/business owners who answered questions on innovation, growing ideas and starting a business. This was about creating a portfolio of career options, not for profit, community and creative opportunities.
Proceeds from ticket sales supported Yalari, a not-for-profit organisation that offers quality, secondary education scholarships at leading Australian boarding schools for Indigenous children from regional, rural and remote communities. www.yalari.org.
