Budgeting for fun, rolling over old super accounts and building a financial to-do-list are some of the practical tips Brisbane Women’s Club members picked up at our first financial literacy seminar.

Designed to help women and young professionals understand and take control of their money, Invest in Yourself: Financial Literacy 101 covered the basics of budgeting, maximising your tax return, growing your super, borrowing and debt.

Members heard from a range of industry experts including BWC Director and Principal of Bounce Financial Cara Brett, Pilot Partners’ Angela Stavropoulos and Kristy Baxter, and Nicole Green from Unique Finance.

If you missed the workshop check out the top five tips from our panel of financial experts.
