  • BWC Professional Series #2
     19/05/2022
     6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Brisbane Women’s Club Meet and Mingle – Professional Series enables our members and guests to network, connect and engage with local Brisbane women and to support the development of strong community connections with likeminded people who are motivated and passionate about supporting other local women.

Each networking event features a key-note speaker talking to a topic relevant to professional women.  The format of the event allows time for comfortable and informal networking, a presentation and discussion.

There will be a lucky door prize gifted on the evening.  BWC financial members enjoy discounted tickets to these events, with non-members paying a minimal $10 charge to the ticket price.  All proceeds support the ongoing administration and operations of Brisbane Women’s Club.

Our Guest Speaker: Ms Kylie Chown

Kylie Chown is back in 2022 after a very popular session with our members and guests last year.  Kylie is Australia’s First Certified Social Media Crisis Advisor, a Linked In Coach and Trainer, Current No 2 Linked In Expert in the Asia Pacific region, holder of a number of other notable social media titles and author and contributor books, articles and papers on this topic.

Kylie will speak about ‘Digital First – How to Take Control of your Digital First Impression using LinkedIn‘.  Based on last year’s event, she will also provide some practical tips to improve your own Linked In and digital footprint.  As we have all heard before, “You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression”. And as Kylie points out, now is the time to take control of your digital reputation.

Special Opportunity: Professional Headshot

Taylor Rose is a local Brisbane photographer who will take a limited number of professional headshots for those in attendance on Thursday 19 May 2022; with the images being provided digitally to participants for their own personal use (including to improve your own digital footprint).  BWC members have priority booking and will not be charged.  We will have limited spots available for non-members to have their headshot taken on the night, and there will be a fee of $10.  All participants must book prior to the evening.
